About the Film
National Velvet (1944) is a classic coming-of-age story about a young girl with a deep love for horses who sets her sights on an unlikely dream. With the help of determination, care, and the people around her, she takes on a challenge far larger than what others expect of her. It’s a gentle, inspiring film about courage, care, and believing in possibility.
